YourWay Storage - McKinley Auction Terms
Payment Deadline The winning bidder must pay the full bid amount within 24 hours of the auction closing. Failure to pay will result in the unit being offered to the next highest bidder and the bidder being banned from future auctions. Cleaning Deposit A $100 refundable cleaning deposit is required per unit won (not per bidder). The deposit will be refunded once the unit is completely emptied, left broom-swept clean, and verified by staff. Personal Items: Personal items belonging to the previous tenant must remain in the unit and be left neatly organized. These include items such as identification documents, legal or financial papers, medical records, photographs, letters, heirlooms, and medications. Clean Out Requirements Units must be fully emptied within 48 hours of auction close. The unit must be broom-swept clean. A photo of the empty unit must be submitted through the Move Out Form to begin the deposit refund process. Dumpster Use On-site dumpsters may not be used for disposal. Violations will result in loss of the cleaning deposit. Payment Methods Payment must be made by credit or debit card only. Cash and checks are not accepted. Sales Tax Applicable sales tax will be added to the final winning bid. Rule Enforcement Failure to meet payment deadlines, clean-out requirements, or other auction rules may result in deposit forfeiture and removal from future auctions.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (YourWay Storage - McKinley) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
