Winning Auction Bidder Terms and Conditions Payment Deadline The winning bidder has 24 hours from the end of the auction to pay the full winning bid amount. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe will result in the unit being offered to the next highest bidder and the bidder being banned from future auctions. $100 Cleaning Deposit Required Per Unit A $100 refundable cleaning deposit is required per unit won. Deposits are required per unit, not per bidder. The deposit will be refunded once the unit is completely emptied, left clean except for personal items belonging to the previous tenant, and verified by our staff. Handling Personal Items Personal items belonging to the previous tenant must remain in the unit and be left in a neat and orderly manner. Personal items include, but are not limited to: Drivers licenses, state IDs, passports Birth certificates, Social Security cards, medical records, tax documents, financial or legal papers Printed photographs, photo albums, sentimental keepsakes Family heirlooms and personal letters Prescription or over the counter medications Clean Out Requirements The unit must be fully cleaned out within 48 hours of auction close. The unit must be left broom swept clean. A photo of the empty and clean unit must be submitted through our Move Out Form to initiate the deposit refund process. No Dumpster Use On site dumpsters may not be used for disposal of unit contents. Violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of the $100 deposit. Payment Methods Payment must be made by credit or debit card only. Cash and checks are not accepted. Sales Tax Applicable sales tax will be added to the final winning bid amount. Forfeiture and Enforcement Failure to fully clean out the unit within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the cleaning deposit. Failure to comply with any auction rules, payment deadlines, or clean out requirements may result in removal and banning from future auctions at the operator's discretion.
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (YourWay Storage - Berkshire) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
This facility is donating % of this unit's final bid price to charity. The only difference is that your Down Payment is % for this unit.
