Holmes Self Storage Auction Terms
Access hours for winning bidders to retrieve items are 6 am - 9 pm. Credit Card only is accepted for the unit. Refundable cleaning deposit will be refunded after confirmation of the unit being cleaned out. Unit must be emptied within 72 hours of the auction close time. All trash, along with any discarded items, must be disposed of off-site; the property dumpster cannot be used. If any items are left behind or placed in the facility dumpster, or the unit is not cleaned out within 72 hours, the Cleaning Deposit will be forfeited, and the bidder will be banned from future auctions.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Holmes Self Storage ) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
