YourWay Storage - Berkshire Auction Terms
Winning Auction Bidder Terms and Conditions Payment Deadline: The winning bidder has 24 hours from the end of the auction to pay the full winning bid amount. Failure to submit payment will result in the unit being offered to the next highest bidder and a ban from future auctions. $100 Cleaning Deposit Required Per Unit: A $100 refundable cleaning deposit is required per unit won. Refunded once the unit is completely emptied, left clean, and verified by staff. Handling Personal Items: Personal items belonging to the previous tenant must remain in the unit left neat and orderly. This includes IDs, passports, birth certificates, photos, medications, and other personal documents. Clean Out Requirements: Unit must be fully cleaned out within 48 hours of auction close, left broom swept clean, and a photo submitted through our Move Out Form to initiate deposit refund. No Dumpster Use: On site dumpsters may not be used for disposal. Violation results in forfeiture of the $100 deposit. Payment Methods: Credit or debit card only. No cash or checks. Sales Tax: Applicable sales tax will be added to the final bid amount.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (YourWay Storage - Berkshire) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
